Do you have an idea that can help Arley and Ansley become better places to live?

We have just launched two Community Chest scheme’s one for individuals and community groups and one for businesses to make our area an even better place to live.

Un-constituted groups and individuals can apply for up to £300. Constituted groups and charities can apply for up to £500. Business groups can apply for up to £500

The aim of the Community Chest is to provide small grants to local people to build towards the four key outcomes of all Big Local areas.

  • Communities will be better able to identify local needs and take action in response to them.
  • People will have increased skills and confidence, so that they continue to identify and respond to needs in the future.
  • The community will make a difference to the needs it prioritises.
  • People will feel that their area is an even better place to live.

The Community Chest operates on a yearly cycle. The scheme will be open for applications for twelve  months and will run for the year or until the budget for the year is fully allocated. You can describe your project in writing, via a video or a presentation., though all must be supported by a signed paper application form.

Signed paper copies of the application form should be sent to the WCAVA office in Atherstone.   Videos or presentations should be emailed to nwbiglocal@wcava.org.uk  Your application will be acknowledged by email.
