Events coming up this year
We have planned our regular favourites for 2018 and we hope to add a few more events this year. If you and some friends have a good idea for an event you would like to run in the area please come and talk to us and we may be able to help you.
Community Litter pick
We are planning three litter picks over the weekend of Friday, Saturday and Sunday 16, 17, 18 November. See the Community Litter Pick page on this web site for more details.
This year’s Lantern Trail will take place in Ansley Village on Saturday December 15th starting at 4:30 pm outside the Village Hall on Birmingham Road. We will be walking along Birmingham Road to St Laurence’s Annexe where we will have some refreshments and sing some carols as in previous years.

Festival of Flight
This will be on Sunday June 17th at Hill Top playing field
We will be at the Fillongley Show again on Sunday August 12th
There are two films being shown on Saturday 18th August at Arley Community centre. Jumanji – Welcome to the Jungle in the afternoon starting at 2:00pm and The Greatest Showman starting at 7:30pm. Entrance is FREE. Refreshments will be available from the Women’s Institute for a donation to the Warwickshire Air Ambulance.
We will again be supporting the Dog Show on Saturday September 1st at Hill Top playing field
Ansley Community cafe – Cafe@the Hall
The cafe will re-open after the summer break on Thursday September 6th open from 10:00 to 12:30 as normal at Ansley Village Hall.
This will be over the weekend of September 22nd /23rd. This year’s theme is “Numbers” so songs. books, stories with a number in it or commemorations / anniversaries of which there seem to be a lot this year. There are three workshops planned on the preceding weekends see the calendar above for details.
