Events that you may have missed
Scarecrow Festival – Weekend September 23rd & 24th
We have now decided that the theme for this year’s event will be Historical Characters. However do not let this put you off having a go as we will be more than happy if you just make a simple scarecrow and display it somewhere around the villages or dig out a scarecrow from a previous year if you do not much spare time. In the past we have had Children’s stories, Sporting heroes and Songs & singers.
Festival of Flight – Sunday June 25th
We have expanded this year’s event so as well as kite flying and control line aircraft from the South Birmingham Model Flying Club we will have two supervised bouncy castles. Also we will have some stands for local groups and businesses to promote what they do, if you want to promote your activity then please get in touch to see if we can fit you in. The event will take place at Hill Top playing fields as normal from 1:00 to 5:00 pm we just need to hope for good weather. Keep your eye out for our leaflet through your door soon.
