Lantern Trail 2019

Saturday December 14th,     Start at 4:30pm

We are organising another Lantern Trail this year and have decided to tie in with the Christmas Fayre at Arley Community Centre that is on from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday December 14th.

If you want to go on the trail meet in the Car Park at the Community Centre at 4:30pm.

We will walk down Ransome Road and Frederick Road and then along the path at the bottom of Daffern’s Wood and up through the woods to the top entrance and come out on to Morgan Close and then walk back to Arley & St Michael’s Community Centre. At the centre we will have some refreshments and then sing a few carols in the church hall.

If you have a lantern or a torch or a glow stick please bring it along, though please do not bring lanterns with naked flames.

If anyone does not want to walk through the woods or if it is muddy then you can take the short cut along Tremelling Way and onto Morgan Close to meet the others when they come out of the woods.

Remember to wrap up warm and wear suitable footwear as the footpaths through the woods can be slippery.

We would ask that children are accompanied by an adult on the walk
